About Good Practice Wales
Improving services is the goal of every public sector organisation as a result the collating, sharing and learning of good practice has become a priority for many organisations. While organisations share good practice internally often it is difficult to access examples of good practice from other organisations- this is a missed opportunity when there is so much that we can all learn from each other. The Good Practice Wales Portal aims to be the single point of access to a wide range of examples of good practice available across Welsh public services.

The Good Practice Wales portal has been developed and implemented by a group of core partners who all have an equal stake in the ownership of the portal. As a partner-populated resource the portal is expected to grow and grow and with new partners signing up the website will fast become an essential resource for the public sector in Wales.
Good Practice Wales have supported the development of and also host 'Community websites'. These sites have been developed for specific interest public sector organisations for a variety of reasons, but who are all committed to promoting and sharing good practice and learning through the Portal. Organisations and partnerships produce compendia to promote good practice in their service sector. These are usually one off documents but usefully inform Good Practice Wales.
